Twisties - Topanga Canyon Road - February 4, 2006

Just a short one, but a great little road - not too busy on a late Saturday morning in February.
Grab this one from Pacific Coast Highway between Malibu and Santa Monica. We tried to take it beyond HWY 101 in Woodland Hills, all the way up to CA 118, but that part has too much traffic, and too many traffic control devices (stop signs, traffic signal lights) to be fun. Might be worth taking up to Mulholland, but I'd probably recommend looping back to PCH on Old Topanga Canyon Road.

The Malibu Feed Bin is an easy landmark to spot.

It starts in Twisty pretty much right away.


Pretty good pavement condition, nice banking, and decent visibility.
These bikes were frustratingly slow. No other traffic sighted in our direction the entire way.

Nice banking and pleasant views.
