SCMM Seal Beach Breakfast, May 13, 2006

Due to the simultaneous scheduling of the club's Casino Run, in San Diego County, the Second Saturday of the Month Seal Beach Breakfast returned to the Shore House Cafe this month. Surprisingly enough, we had a very good turnout, With 20-plus cars, including New MINIs, Classic Minis, a Bugeye Sprite, and a Lotus Exige!

Unfortunately, our group strained the capacity of the restaurant's back room, with 35 hungry people, seating was awkward. Looks like we'll have to continue our search for a new venue...

After breakfast, several of us tagged along with Hope and Lex to the Wet Okole shop, in Costa Mesa. We had a nice drive along the coast, and the Wet Okole folks were extremely friendly and laid back. Erik Sharp ended up ordering a full set of seat covers after seeing the ones Hope and Lex purchased. Watching the installation guys swarming over Francesca was amazing, and the seat covers look great!

Robert brought along his new helper-dog in training, Onyx. He seemed like a good co-pilot!

Afterward, we found a place to get some fruit smoothies, blizzards, and frozen soft drinks, and hung out to chat for a while.
